I Hate Going to the Dentist!

It's like a medieval torture chamber. First they gouge and mangle your gums with that sharp, metal, pointy scraper thingy. Then they polish your teeth AND your bleeding gums with that spinning thingy. Then they pop that floss up to your tender, raw gums.

Can they pop that floss up there any harder? This must be my punishment for not flossing at home. Apparently they do not want you to collect the floss they hand out. They want you to actually use it up.

Then they give you your report card. Apparently silver fillings that are decades old can cause some problems with your teeth. And apparently some people have teeth that are more prone to cracking and fracturing than other people. And when this happens you might need a crown on one tooth. And on another tooth you might need the old silver filling out and a new filling put in to replace the old silver one and to cover up the crack in said tooth.

Oh, gee, thanks. That is what I wanted to hear today. Just shoot me.

Haa! I Found It!!

Remember the Liquid Hose? If not, click here for an explanation. I found it. At Walgreens. In the cosmetic section. Just in case you are looking for it.

Me? I think I will stick with the standard issue hose. Besides, what would a Sunday morning be like without a run?

(Actually, I have a confession. I always wear knee-hi's. With my skirts. If a skirt is not long enough to wear knee-hi's then I don't buy it. I do try to make sure the knee-hi tops don't show when I cross my legs at church. Yes, I know that puts me in the class of "old lady stuff." But hose are too uncomfortable. And I am all about comfort. Anyway, it kinda goes along with the granny panties that my daughter informed me I wear. But - comfort!)

A Little Bit of Pink for Christmas
Camera batteries - do they just exist to plague us??? I got a few pictures of pink before it gave up the ghost.
To see more Pink Saturday on some blogs that have blog owners who are more organized and have extra batteries, or better yet, RECHARGABLE batteries, and who are, consequently, not really annoyed right now, click on the Pink Saturday button below.

And thanks for visiting! I really do appreciate you coming by!

Francesca is on her way!!!!

My husband paid for her ticket yesterday. She began her travels today!!! UPS says she should arrive on Friday. I can't wait!!!!!

She is my Christmas present - but maybe my husband will say she can move right in on Friday, and not have to wait till Christmas. He calls her the she-devil or the crash dummy. My kids call her The Body. But wait till they meet her! Surely they will love her as much as I already do!!! And then they will begin to lovingly use her real name - Francesca (pronounced Fran-ches-ka). She is Italian, you see.

I will introduce her to you when she has moved in. (I hope, I hope, I hope that will be before Christmas!)

I have her jewels all ready for her. But I think I need to go shopping this week for clothes for her presentation!

Oh, fun! Oh, fun! Oh, fun!
